Our Boys program follows similar developmental levels as outlined in our Girls School-Age program*. Throughout the session, they will spend time working on various equipment, including: floor exercise, vault, high bar, rings and tramp/tumble track.
NO REFUND will be given for missed classes or dropping a class after your first week of class.
Students of varying levels may be enrolled in the same class. Max class size: 8:1
*Students must be 5 years of age to enroll in any level of the school-age program.
Boys Apprentice: 55min (target ages 7yo-9yo)
The Beginner levels are the first level of our school-age developmental program. During this 55-minute class, children will learn an established routine including a 15-minute, interactive warm up, and three 15-minute rotations on that week's events. Progress reports will be handed out at the end of the session to evaluate students on the core skills required to move up to Masters. (backward roll on floor, handstand, handstand to bridge kick over, cartwheel, roundoff rebound on floor and back handspring over octagon)
Boys Masters: 55min (target ages 10yo-17yo)
This is the highest level within our school-age program. At this level, students are pushed to excel on these core skills: front handspring on floor, back handspring on floor and roundoff back handspring on floor. The 55-minute Advanced class allows for three 15-minute rotations after the 15-minute warmup. Students will expand their knowledge and skill set as they learn increasingly difficult skills on every event.
